KzinistZerg
I'm fully aware that you usually hit an invisible barrier and can't go any farther. Ok, good. I presume this for the entire border, including water. Well and good- but do you think these barriers are moveable? I’m pretty sure they'd be something placed in the TC- that way, you could, theoretically, move them for more land. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Chaosmaker
It may be possible. You can probally make your own cell in a similar way just have an invisable barrier. But I don't think It'll be as easy as moving the border from one place to the next.
Peregrine
Considering that expanding the borders of Morrowind to add new land, would be one of the most obvious mod projects, as well as an expansion idea, I really doubt the borders are fixed. Especially since the actual landscape will continue past them, the border consists of no more than "player may not cross line between x1,y1 and x2,y2". Switch
Well, according to what the devs have said it'll basically be a point where you just stop, and a box or something comes up saying something like "you cannot continue beyond this point". However, they've built tons of land far beyond the border so you can stand on top of a mountain next to the border and see into the lands beyond, even though you can't access them, which is a nice idea. :D I would imagine the barriers would work like the "INVISO" collision walls used in the chargen at the start of Morrowind that stop you from falling off the pier. Easily repositioned.
Wookiee
awwww i was hoping for clipping glitches as you near the border and the sence of an acid trip as terrain is infinatly imprinted onto the "null"
