And I have to mathematically work out how old I am any time someone asks. Can recount entire conversations from 20+ years ago word for word, but can't remember the name of who I was talking to. I'm reading a book about ADD and listening to Skrillex. Now this will sound extremely spiritual and cheesy, but I don't care. I felt like I saw a glimpse of the real me that I have been hiding and holding back the whole time because he didn't fit in, and I replaced him with the shy, little, self hating me that I am now. Just so I could fit in our conservative little Croatian society.I don't really know how to describe this. I feel a fire, a passion that I have very rarely, or probably never felt before. I somehow feel that I'm finally on the right track. The combination of this book and Skrillex is somewhat enlightening. The book (or should I say, the author) is opening my eyes, while Skrillex is making me feel alive. It feels like someone is trying to revive the real me with a defibrilator.
