i found out the receiver that came with my Boston acoustics is really underpowered. I bought that pioneer for a reason, even though it has optical in, but its sub par for my speakers.

it really needs a good 140watt per channel receiver to get the amp really driven to its optimal sound output. The thing is, its advertise as a 114watts per channel when in reality they work wonderfully at a 140 watts per channel, over driving them about 36watts per channel.

needs that added wattage to drive all five

My amp is advertised at 230watts, but I'm betting i could get 300watts out of it
