Werne Posted September 13, 2013 Share Posted September 13, 2013 I'm currently restricted to using my old PC with some parts transplanted from my new one. You wanna know why? Here's a brief explanation: First I pushed the CPU to maximum 3.8GHz Turbo frequency. :smile: That was no fun though, so I pushed it 4.2GHz, that was much better. :D I then proceeded to increase the voltage and managed to push it to 4.8GHz. :woot: But I made a mistake while increasing the voltage, pushed it to 4.9GHz trying to hit 5, and it bursted. :mellow: Lucky for me, I paid 50$ extra for extended warranty that covers damage done by overclocking. Now I just have to wait for the new one to come over.
