SubjectProphet
Lol, my current specs suck compared to yours. Wait until I get my alienware specs posted though, it'll grab yours and squash it. XD

Werne
@naomis8329 As far as I understand, crossfire is when you connect another graphics card to the one you already have to boost it's power and performance.
RitualBlack
Hey Thor, you finally got your 7xxx series cards. How are they performing in games? If you haven't used a recent crossfire/sli combo you will be pleasantly surprised. Some games such as Just Cause 2 will allow you to use your second card to give you almost double the performance of one card (around 96 of a full card performance on the second). No more massive heat generation for not that great performance boosts anymore .
SubjectProphet
Hey, Thor, guess what? I crossfired already. :P My computer will run games for aroun another 5 years and then I'll need hardware upgrades. Alienware is NOT cheap.

RitualBlack
My laptop also has crossfire cards (6970m's) but the 78xx/79xx are AMD's new 28nm cards. They are supposedly a pretty big jump and don't heat up nearly as much. Mainly why I was wondering how they are performing  . (winning the with the last post)
