Speaking for the UK, I believe it is TECHNICALLY still illegal, but only in the sense that they never repealed the law. It's on the law books, but considered to be "no longer extant" I think the phrase is. Looking like a squashed bug or drowning are gruesome ways to go. Turns out it's actually quite hard to bleed to death too, unless you really really are motivated, and understand anatomy.I know, I tried, I only destroyed my carpet and scared the crap out of my neighbours. And after that my parents actually told me that if I want to do it, I should do it right because my failiures are embarassing them. Really good parents, eh? As for legality, some countries say it's legal, some that it's illegal. You can take a look on Wikipedia. It's not exactly illegal here in Croatia but if you do it you can get accused for an attempt to take someone's life, even if that life is yours. But if we say, Killed our character, after we did, then, for some unknown reason when we got to play the game again and we died, you know, in the video game to a tougher opponent? My liver is mailfunctioning, the brain is broken, eardrums are busted, left eye damaged, too much hair all over it and half of the bones are made poorly, they broke after a few years of usage.
