I had a Hognose once. It took care of bugs under the sink and around the cupboards.Nice. I never actually had a snake, my parents never allowed it and now my girlfriend doesn't either. I don't know why though, they've never even seen a snake up-close since they were always too busy running away from everything that moves and isn't a human.
