Buying books for school is a minefield of bullshiz! $150 for a brand new Calculus book is ridiculous, $70 for a used one is also horrendous, especially since they change editions every two years just to force you to buy new. (meaning that my brother had to get a different one when he took that class.)

I know its all way too expensive. The guy I'm talking to has to look into why my book is missing. xD

The other two they are ordering and he'll let me know when I can get them. At least they have nice customer service at my college.

Oh wait. They don't.

They told some lady "if your husband had died sooner."

Edit: Would you believe me if I told you this is a cake?

Its true.

Go Werne :dance:

RE Crying....

Don't think a game has ever made me cry. Or a book.

Certain bits of music make me sob like a small child though. When movies get close it's usually down to the music as much as the story.

Same here.

Music mostly. (Example:

)

But I did cry in the last serious Spyro game (Dawn Of The Dragon, I think), where he died. I felt like I lost a friend D: (Technically I did, since I played all of them, since I was 4 actually. Yes, I played video games when I was 4, I'm that epic. Didn't stop since then. Just moved from consoles to PC :D)

I cry like an idiot at the end of Monster Inc gets me every time and Bambi well I need shares in Kleenex

I had just started my second year at Uni when I found I was pregnant with my youngest.... I ended up having to finish just after Christmas after collapsing for the 100th time in the corridor. I had pre-eclampsia for the 2nd time and yes ok I very nearly died, again.... however, I returned to uni that September and signed in etc, got my passes for the car and me and everything else, tried to sign into the computer system, and couldn't.... Went to student services only to be told I was dead. I told them I wasn't and they said it was on the system, I was dead. I laughingly showed id, my passes (that they had issued me as it happens) and told them that there I was in front of them very much alive.

The system wouldn't have it and eventually I had to get our departmental technician (a total whizz with computers) to sort it as for over 2 months the uni systems kept telling anyone who'd listen I was dead. Talk about a dog with a bone and this was a hunk of metal :D :D :D

Just so you all know, I'm not dead, I'm most definitely alive :) :)

The Fox and the Hound, Where the Red Fern Grows, and Air Bud made me instantly sob until I was about nine. Anything with a dying dog gets me close even nowadays. I find that I care more about and sympathize more with canids than humans in movies. That being said, the ending of Lost made me cry and Vincent didn't even die.
