tetradite
Well, I've gone and done it... Overclocked 7970 on the way (Yeah I know they're not much better than a 7950, but I want every last frame I can get out of a single card, 'cos there's many other things to upgrade before I consider crossfiring it). Bring on Wednesday and the arrival of the foot-long GPU BEAST  All being well, hopefully the big fat SSD in a couple of months. Just got to quit smoking. Deleted54170User
I just don't believe steam. I've just played The Darkness II Demo (and considering I hate shooter games, I'm totally blown away, pardon the pun) Went to the store page and its £39.99 to buy. Thought "Oh s***" and put it on the wishlist. Went to Amazon to take a look at the disk version and guess what I've bought it for £14.60 and its the Limited Edition version, brand new. What the hell is going on with Steam and its pricing? Why are things so heavy in the UK? ......... Hah ahah heee ho ho hah, Pound sterling, hah heeeeeeee ho ho. It rains a lot. Everything is always at least mildly damp. Someone pounds Sterling? http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/devil.gif I hope Sterling is tough. That will be seven pounds sterling. (That's either the cost of an item in a store, a battering statement, or the number pounds one will receive for their punishment for trying to lift someone's purse.) http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/laugh.gifI would not want to be pounded on for what I owe a person. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/blink.gif Phew! I'm glad my name isn't reflective for an object people pound on. I am definitely not changing my name to 'Anvil'. I'll need some Advil afterward if I did. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif I WIN! Because I have a pocket full of cents, a wallet full of dollars, and no one to stop me now! I WIN !
Thor.
Back in the say my father was a real junkie when it come to sound, during a drive to my fathers parents house i discovered a pair of jenson speakers in todays terms would be around 1200watts a piece, plus a quad tape deck full of 1980's and 70's music. like the beatles and so on, it was just laying there in the basement all covered up with a sheet for dust protection a guess, and stored in a closet. he even forgot where it was :D. but after me finding it he figured why not just give the whole thing to me. I was WOOW why and ihe said i no longer have the ear for that anymore. plus he switched over to cd;s i guess he figured i would like then more then he would. I guess is ears can't handle the base like hey used to http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/confused.gif Even i was a base junkie the day i was born, sitting on the floor with the speakers rumbling on the ground. After 10 years of that you kind of grow into it i guess. Jenson speakers where insane back then.. even for today's standards. similar to this but 4 of themhttp://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/blink.gif I had no idea when i was younger just how good they where. http://www.oaktreevintage.com/web_photos/Stereo_Speakers/Tannoy_Cheviot_Stereo_loud-Speakers_Web.jpg Edited August 26, 2012 by Thor. Thor.
I know that, just excited to receive a one of kind vintage speaker system still working http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif trying to do some research, and stil can't find the id number of the speakers themselves. must dig deeper. I don;t wanna rip open the amp itself. the wood paneling is worth money Or mess with the internals eitherthey where heavy, almost ways a tun. that also is promising http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif 1200watts back then a piece, i wonder if the standards have changed http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif These speakers would destroy glass if you allowed it lol. Just think movie theatre speakers, not quite but close http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif I'm almost afraid to test to see if they truly work, neighbors I'm sorry lol.
