My brothers have been playing Borderlands 2 on the Xbox. I played it yesterday with one of them and one of their friends. They just kept running through not slowing down. Totally not my style. Of course my brothers get pissed off because I constantly spend hours in a game searching meaningless corners in hopes of finding something exciting.

I'm the same and my kids hate me. Like I keep saying to them this is all part of roleplaying, looking and searching, not just following quests and the like. Exploring to me is as much a part of the gaming experience as the quests and storylines :D

That's just tough cookies for them. We have a wealth of knowledge and they only know the destruction factor. If they become our enemies on the game board we know where we can gain an advantage over them and they have to re-spawn, "over and over".

So how does looting go in multiplayer? Are all the good drops offered up to the group or is it first one to grab it?

Anyone can grab it. It really sucks because I when I did play it on the Xbox with my brother and his friend (who ran ahead all the time) they got all these cool and stronger guns. I quit when I got to level 6. We didn't even do the first town's job board. -.-

:P I spent a considerable amount of time longer in the Mass Effect games because of this. I literally did everything in the first one which ended up adding somewhere between 5-10 hours more than they had. xD

Sometimes I just like to look at the places and its not necessarily that I'm actually looking for things.

...I feel like this is somehow directed at me. xD
