I've just finished playing Alan Wake and The Darkness 2. I loved both of them. I'm not a fan of gun games but as there were other aspects to them I had a whale of a time. The stories were amazing and I can't wait for sequels. I already have the AW American Nightmare so will hopefully get round to playing that at the weekend. I couldn't play Darkness 1 as it was on console, but apparently work has commenced on The Darkness 3 which is to be released sooner rather than later :D I would recommend taking a gander at both. Rent if you don't want to buy, but do have a go, they're great fun. Coming from me that is a big recommendation for a shooting game.

Yep I loved both of them as well. :D

The Darkness (first one) was very fun. If you ever get a chance to try it on a console I definitely recommend doing so. Didn't know they were making a third one. Of course I don't really keep up with many games. Except Dragon Age and Starbound. I've been watching them closely...

:ninja:

I love DA and can't wait for number 3. I surprised myself getting the Darkness 2 and Alan Wake. I think the story lines intrigued me so I got them.

Didn't play at first but then the siren calls beckoned and I gave them a go. Great fun both of them...

Yay! Early spring!

I'm tired of it being cold so much. ._.

Now for the inevitable responses from friends telling me that I don't know what true cold is like. :tongue:

Idk how cold it actually gets in NC, but you don't know what true cold is like ;_;

I bet its something like in Britain, when there's a snowfall people go nuts over 1cm of snow and close down all schools. ._. Here I get 1.5 meters of snow and nobody cares.

That's the way it is in the Southern US. They don't have the equipment to handle any cold weather. Just before the Christmas break, the schools in Houston, TX were closed for the day because the weather forecast was for "possible" freezing rain. :mellow:

Pretty much. A few years back the schools were shut down because it was going to snow a few inches.

The best part: it didn't snow that day. XD

This year we had maybe 5 cm of snow one day and they shut the schools down. The snow melted by the end of the day. :wink:
