ddmlink Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 I've been having stability issues with Skyrim since the 1.8 patch came out. I updated my mods and even tried a full reinstall. Still unstable. Last night I used Skyrim Installation Swapper to create a vanilla Skyrim and after playing for awhile I noticed that it hadn't crashed. So I copied over my character that I have had since Skyrim's release and his required mods and the game continues to play with no issue at all. I just don't get it. A full reinstall doesn't work, but a "reinstall" or whatever SIS does to create a vanilla Skyrim fixes it? :psyduck:I still haven't figured out what caused the issue to begin with. Honestly, I'm not sure if I even care anymore; it works with no issues. Either way... Thanks evilOlive.
