Yeah they're making that only for consoles. A strategy game that was on PC and gathered a huge fanbase there, now console exclusive.

What now? Age of Empires 4 will be Xbox One exclusive right? I bet Fable 4 will be Xbox exclusive too. And if they make a Black & White 3 then that will also be Xbox One exclusive, but with Kinect support, so you can wiggle your balls in front of it and watch how the game map gets destroyed by earthquakes.

I'm starting to hate Microsoft slowly, everybody should switch to Linux.

This made me laugh

This just proves how pathetic they are. Trying to force feed something down their fanbase's throat and after more than half of them gives up on the Xbox they put their tail between their legs and stop that force-feeding experiment in order to not absolutely fail.

Laughable and pathetic, they already lost. By this gesture they may have won a bit of their fans back, but lost a huge amount of respect.

They continue to piss me off more and more. From what I've seen, I don't think a lot of fans will be returning. When you piss off your customers that much, its going to take more than just correcting your mistakes.

 

 

From what I've read, the producers of Fable knew they made a humongous mistake limiting Fable 2 to console as it was not received well. I believe that any future games are to be available on PC due to the furor after the Fable 2 debacle lol.

However on saying that, there have been articles saying that the next Fable game may be an upgrading of Fable 1. Now I don't know whether to be pleased or scared about that as I thoroughly enjoyed 1 and 3 (couldn't play 2 as it was on console lol). So long as the stories run in a way that makes sense and the stories follow one to another with little or no inconsistency, I will be as happy as a jay bird. We'll see I guess. This is much the way with a series of games DA is proof of this and hopefully 3 will tie up a lot of loose ends from 2 lol. The Witcher series has been amazingly good following seamlessly through so I'm hoping 3 will tie it all together beautifully, although I'm sure it will still leave us wanting more as this is the last one.

For any game, we have to wait and see what happens I guess :biggrin:

It's the same with Halo.

Fable and Halo made fans on PC, then they just wiggled over to consoles and everybody forgot the PC versions. Even the Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary version, which is a HD remake of the PC original, was console exclusive. I bet Fable Anniversary will be exactly the same.

I support things like The Witcher 2, where it's focused on PC and then later ported over to consoles. That game was a major success in every possible way.

Just meh at Microsoft, again. Meh, meh, meh.

 

I love Fable. t-t I saw the announcement for the remake and I was excited. Didn't realize it was going to most likely be console exclusive.
Fable was the only reason I cared about getting an Xbox. But since the third was released on PC and Xbox I assumed the next ones would be as well.
To be honest, if it wasn't for the fact that EVERYTHING is developed for Windows and Fable 2 was an Xbox 360 exclusive, I would never purchase anything from Microsoft. They've always made me mad, but it seems like they enjoy angering me more and more as years go by.

Well Microsoft has gone down another 50 notches in my estimation. Banking on the XBox 1 to boost sales and therefore making "exclusives" of Fable etc... well that just sucks.

 

I'm feeling just as cross with PS4 as The Order 1886 is the same an "exclusive" and not being released for PC. I suck at console usage and I'm slowly but surely getting frustrated with it all.

It happened with the ps3 and 360, its a sad thing, but not all games are coming to pc, but Metal gear and the crew is :biggrin:

Sony always has a lot of cool exclusives. :\

But they tend to upset me less than Microsoft. Microsoft just makes me mad constantly and its not always something I can explain.

Microsoft hasn't had many exclusives I like to be honest, and Fable is really the only one I can think of that I do really like right now. And that was only the second game that was exclusive. I only own four games for an Xbox, all three Mass Effects (which I also own on the PC, without DLC though) and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (which is console exclusive, would be awesome on the PC though).

 

I much prefer my computer, but it doesn't really run much since its a cheap laptop. I'm trying to play Skyrim, but I just want to do the DLC. Of course that's harder stuff so I'll have to spend time wandering about doing things, doesn't seem to be running too bad yet.

hmm Sugetion for the buged Mother-in-law -> run stealth.sh and the use the Valium 1.3 on something like Wine_whiteUI 7.53 I know you have compiled the Valium 1.3 into the Household package. :dry:

I have the dread feeling those bugs in the Mother-in-law package are hardcoded :down:
