3.5" is the standard PC hard drive, 2.5" is a standard laptop hard drive. So it's not large, it's normal. :thumbsup:

The ps3 uses the 2.5 standard, the pc doesn't matter, the ps3 uses a standard laptop HD, thats why i was looking. The ps4 is able to be upgraded, future reference.

 

i was at one point thinking of upgrading the ps3 HD, its getting quite full even though its a 320gb hd. All that game data is starting to reach its limit. :blink:

 

i second thought that through sense anything higher then 450gb gets quite buggy and the chances of bricking your ps3 is high. The latest firmware i was unaffected, anything higher i would have been.

3.5" to 2.5" SATA converter, cut the inside of the case enough to cram a 3.5" HDD in there and voila. Trust me, I'm an engineer. :biggrin:
