I hate my hard drives, they do a scheduled self-test every 45 minutes during which they moan (as in literally, moan).

 

Problem is that the test lasts exactly 43 minutes, which leaves only 2 minutes of peace and quiet, then the bloody things start moaning again. I wouldn't mind it usually, but it gets a tad annoying when the PC doesn't have the side panel and stands right next to me on the table. :dry:

 

Now I think I'll just smash them against the table a couple of times, go to the store and tell the guys they died on me to get a refund. :devil:
