In other news, a basketball just hit my sister in the face and knocked a tooth out. She didn't even cry, she just said, "Ow! Oi Sam, you knocked my tooth out!" Then she went and got a tissue for the blood and she's fine now.

Tessa is probably tougher than I was at her age...

So... Your sister is tougher than you, and she got her tooth busted out...

Lol, thank you very much, I really appreciate that.

You're welcome.

I got plenty of my teeth knocked out by stuff, but the way she just shrugged it off... I dunno, she's some kind of superhuman.

Well, in my experience, having a tooth busted out by an impact (usually a fist in my case, a bike suspension one time) is relatively painless since the impact numbs the area in a way (more impact surface area = less pain cause it's distributed). Having a tooth pulled out by a dentist is truly painful however, since he literally rips it out and it starts breaking and crumbling when it's pressed with pliers, while there's no pain in other areas around it.

I did both without anesthetic, and the dentist visit was by far more painful. Though at the dentist I refused anesthetic because she was hot (as was her assistant) so I wanted to impress, shrugged it off like a boss. What can I say, my pain tolerance goes through the roof when there are women around. :D

I was quite little when I had to have a tooth removed at the dentist, so I didn't care that they used anaesthetic. I thought it was actually pretty cool; I remember touching my cheek and I couldn't feel it, but I could feel the vibrations around it in the areas that weren't affected.

Also, has anyone heard of that Bound by Flame game? I only just discovered it then and it looks pretty cool from what I've seen.
