Werne
you know good thing about cold weather is that you can always wear something warm and go outAnd you can overclock like crazy using air cooling, gimme -50oC and a solid air cooler and I'd be able to pump 1.750V across 8 cores without hitting the chip's thermal wall, that should be enough for some 6Ghz or an explosion. Which is why I liked the winter two years ago when we had -27oC here, I pumped 1.73V through an old Core 2 Duo with an NH-D14 cooler, where it hit 5.12GHz before the motherboard's VRMs blew up during benchmarking and fried the damn thing. CPU's temp was still within spec though, even under load, 61oC max. Oh, and I win. Edited January 24, 2014 by Werne
