My phone didn't turn on this morning. I thought it must have run out of charge somehow so I borrowed a different charger and no change. I was thinking, "Oh great, now my phone has frigged up." Luckily, I checked online about iPhones not turning on, and I'm glad I did - turns out the iOS just crashed and it need to be rebooted, which was accomplished by holding the home and power buttons at the same time for about 20 seconds. It's now back in working order. :smile:

Me - "Dragon Age will unlock tonight at 9pm. I've been waiting for this game for over a year now."

 

Nan - "Are you going to stay up all night playing it?"

 

Me - "I want to, but if I get called into work tomorrow, I'll be so tired. Do you know what would be typical? If they called me today and asked me to come in to work, just as the game gets released."

 

*30 seconds later*

 

*Phone rings - it's my work manager*

Luckily, though, she said she might put someone else on tonight. I hope so! She'll call me back if she wants me to come in.

 

 

EDIT 2: Aaaaaaand she called me back. I'm going to be working while I could be playing Dragon Age.

Well. I've got nothing to do, but play solitaire. :sleep: Until the bugs are fixed on the DA: I software I'll have to play one of my solid and fully patched games. :geek:

After I played for an hour or so an error message erupted, "License Invalid". My game crashed. And me thinking it would be different than when we got the new games ten years ago. Hah! Todays boys and girls couldn't put a game together like their idols did; even if they cut and paste them together one code letter, symbol, or number at a time. It's getting so it's best to wait until Ten Years After a game is released to get the full enjoyment of it. :laugh:

I played the fool one more time, buying into the hype. So keep shipping it and I'll just let it go by like a breeze in the eye of hurricane. :mellow:

I have to go to a funeral tomorrow. That sounds awful like I don't care, and for the most part I don't think I do (which sounds really bad) because I hadn't seen or talked to them in years.
So Friday then. Friday I will set out on a quest to get DA:I... On the PS3. Because I'm cheap (and broooooke) and don't have good PC or a PS4.

I just finished fixing various computer tweaks that, after upgrading the chipset, were set back to default in BIOS. I knew I forgot something important, but I remembered it after a dozen or so interesting moments of digging my backlogs, of mental anguish, when I was building and preparing computers from scratch for myself. Now it's time to see if my PC can handle the game with the proper BIOS settings.
