Ring Of Burden Quest

I'm down in the well,got the ring of burden from the dead guy. How do I get out of the well?Can't find a way out anywhere. Tried using the ring but no help there. swam around looking for some way out.no luck any help? :wallbash:

You'll see a hole in the wall (from where you came) and must look up to see the ladder you must activate with the space bar.

 

If not any other item to help, that scroll given to you by the argonian (buoyance) will give a minor feather and some precious seconds to look around calmly. Use it if (when) your breath is red (almost terminating)

I tried getting out of that hole but couldn't get ahold of the ladder. I'll try again thanks for the reply

yes to Dezi and Retribution, thanks for the correction, I was betrayed by my memory and may have confused the OP :)

 

RalphWB, DON'T PANIC (from the hitchacker guide...)... that ladder is really difficult to reach, it's easier if you target that bulkier part of it. I remember my first time too, I was really concerned with the breath bar and died a few times until calm down.

 

PS: you will be in worser situation yet, if do that Renantier dreamworld quest... brrr

You dont need it. Just pick it up rthen immediately drop it and leave the well via the ladder. (unless you want it for some reason) Then just talk to then Argonian lady at the guild hall and tell her the member in the well is dead and the quest will proceed. (Falcar sure acts rude)

Of coarse you need it. Things like the ring of burden and mothers head are what makes your house so interesting after the quests are done. These things are not necessary for the advancement of the quest but they are great to see in your home and think "Oh yeah! That was a great side quest. I didn't think I'd ever find my way out of that well."
