nosisab
Create a temporary folder .... chose those mods you know they don't have immediate conflicts and/or overwrites the others and don't expect you to chose parts of them. Now begin dumping (I mean uncompressing) them into that folder ... you may even name the folder as "data" and think as you are actually installing mods in the real /data .... if done correctly you'll have a bunch of ESPs, probably some ESMs and several subfolders inside folders named after "meshes"; "textures"; sounds .... and etc .... Now you open OBMM click the "Create" button ... in the new window chose "Add folder", navigate to your recently created mess... err I mean "merge". Name the being created omod something like "My mods compilation"; optionally create a Readme and a description and boldly press the Create omod button... if you did the first stage correctly you'll have a shinny omod you may use whenever you reinstall the whole game, since doing such omod will be useful only with new installations and aways a headache to maintain and update/upgrade the individual mods. Please don't get seriously the jocking tone... such omod if done with simpler mods will work fine, yet the difficulty to maintain is for real, it may spare time and grant you will have the mods you aways use together. But to include the more complex ones is something that should really be avoided. And the procedures described are actually the way to go, it is really easy to do OMODs creation (at least to the point where scripting is not necessary). You can do it for functional blocks... it's preferable you have several grouped 'merged mods' omods than trying to do just one. Not everyone will want the same mods, so the very attempt to do such compilation to satisfy everybody is almost impossible.

mckulja
ok i'll try what u said... i have already made some *.omod for babehair and soya 4 pack, but it didnt worked in the game! Other thing - why some mods have conflict? and if i will create omod there will be conflit anymore? I have made this thread cuz when i installed all mods, my Oblivion.exe has crushed, then i deleted some mods like DaedricHouse.esp and those hairs also some named partners! And only then i could enter the game, but after some 3-4 loadings (fast travel, entering caves or houses) Oblivion gived to me an Error and closed the game! So i thoght someone could make those addons to work together without dumping my game! I just dont want to make an *.omod of those all files and get another crash! ;( Sorry im stupid in coding ;( if i knew scripts or the base of them i could do everything by my own and activated them with no problems! BUT! ;(I just don't get if the mod is workable, why he crush my game and if it conflicts with other addon what to do??? also i added beutyful bodies but they aint worked in game ;( ;(. Please help me with some guide - why and how to solve the problem! :) TY!

SavageArtistry
Just to give you an idea of what you're asking, I merged about 150 armor/jewelry mods for myself recently and it took me about a month working on it every single day. Granted I was being more complicated than making an omod, in that I was actually merging the contents into one .esp file, but to ask others to do this for you is a little unreasonable. My 2¢ anyway. mckulja
sooo... it means to make all mods workable is not enogh to merge them in *.omod file??? what need to do then???
SavageArtistry
sooo... it means to make all mods workable is not enogh to merge them in *.omod file??? what need to do then??? *sigh* If mods are not working together normally, I really doubt just putting them in an omod would make any difference. Omods are just for ease of installation/uninstallation. If mods are conflicting it's usually because they are fighting to modify the same data. To get them to work together, especially in the case of cosmetic mods, they need to be merged or load order needs to be considered.
Maigrets
sooo... it means to make all mods workable is not enogh to merge them in *.omod file??? what need to do then??? What you need to do is read this completely and thoroughly before even starting to use mods. Many of the mods you are talking about will still NOT work if just merged together, especially hair, eyes and other cosmetic mods. Oblivion Mods FAQhttp://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=449239 Learn the basics first and then move on to other methods. Above all, and I stress this point, make sure you read and understand the Readme and any other information that accompanies a mod you've downloaded. I know some don't have much of a description, but the ones that do are there for a reason.
bben46
Not all mod conflicts are bad. many mods conflict just because they change something in the game. And that is one definition of conflicting. When 2 mods change the same thing - most of the time, the last mod loaded will control what happens. In that case, changing the load order will change which mod works and which will not show up. However, if, as in the case of Beautiful People and other mods that change the same thing - such as eyes - in different ways, - they are changing different things in the game to get the same result - then they become incompatible and cause problems. The more complex a mod is, the more likely it will have some conflicts with other mods. Sometimes just rearranging the order they load will fix some of these conflicts, but sometimes you must make a choice. We now have nearly 17,000 Oblivion mods on TesNexus alone. There is no way a modder can test their mod with every one of these. Most modders make every reasonable effort to make their mods compatible with others. But some will not work together no matter what you do. The only reason to merge mods if if you have reached the 254 mod limit Go ahead and convert mods into OMODs as they are easier to work with in that form. However, making a mod that conflicts into an OMOD will not make it work. Merge simple mods that do not conflict, such as armor and weapons.
