My mods are messed up. How to get a game like yours?

Hi, I started adding mods to the game a couple of days ago.

I quickly got hold of the taste for it so I kept adding more.

What bothers me is that some mods aren't compatible with eachother, but I have no idea which ones.

I already had to reinstall it a couple of times to start over from scrap.

All I wish to do is enhance the gaming experience of Oblivion the best I can.

I'm asking if there is there any person with experience with these kind of things willing to give me a list of suggested mods?

A couple of guidelines:

-I definitely need a cosmetic mod (so far I've tried Beatiful People, Ren's beauty pack and the cosmetic compilation. Corean hair didn't work) or several, so my character wouldn't look like the things I kill (such as goblins ).

-A nice, but realistic body (no H,I,J,K,whatever cupsizes, only realistic proportions). I was thinking something along one of the eyecandy mods.

-I really need sadle bags (but I never got it to work) or pack guars, so I wouldn't have to go back and forth to move loot around.

-Bravil sea domes (I think it also conflicted with some other mod, because they never appeared in the world) and perhaps some other real estate mods.

-Some nice clothes, the kind this guy uses (http://s267.photobucket.com/albums/ii317/msl37431/). Too bad I have no idea what mod or mods have them.

-Better Natural environments (I'm using the natural environments mod, but I think it conflicted with something last night because the sky turned pink and everything was "ugly" again ).

So all I need is a list of mods that don't conflict and follows these guidelines as much as possible.

Most of you probably have tons of mods installed, so it shouldn't be much of a problem for me to have a game like yours.

I will install only these mods and I will never install another without being completely sure that it won't conflict with the ones I have.

I understand that those with experience most often combine or tweak mods or otherwise have more customized data installations than other users who just download and unzip to their Data directory. I have no idea how to do this, but I'm willing to learn and do some work for the sake of having a better game.

Thank you for your time,

~Chuz

EDIT: I can't offer much, but you'll have my eternal gratitute for sure.

Also, I'm not too lazy to search for mods. Like I said, I already tried a great deal of mods.

I posted a similar request like this on a different forum. Someone replied and said that his way of removing all the conflict between mods made it so custom that it won't work for anyone else, including myself. I really can't give up on this as I love this game so much.

Avoid elaborate eyes and beautiful people. They edit the eye mesh which leads to googly/missing eyes and such. Just get a cosmetic compilation like RBP, or something. (you may want COBL races instead since RBP makes gameplay changes too.)

HGEC has breast sizes A to D

Clothes: Search for apachii, hentai, colourwheel, etc.

Above everything else, the road to a reasonably troubles free gaming environment is refraining to add many mods at a time. As general rule, mods that just ad new items will be less prone to issues. Mods that changes land mass (not talking about just retexturing ones) and mods that changes general NPCs looking need more care and understanding. Beginners should avoid mods like Unique Landscapes and better cities until they are acquainted enough with the how mod works so to know how to deal with the conflicts they almost certainly will create with almost any other mods that uses the same worldspace.

Reading with attention the mod description and mainly, reading it's documentation is yet the better way to grant a smooth experience. Most authors will point out the points where conflicts are to be expected and the way to deal with them.

Repeating: Refrain to add many mods at same time, install one, play for a while, if it add buildings or changes existing ones or changes NPCs, try going to that location, interact with the NPC, if it seems OK it's because probably is. So you can install another... all the while you'll be playing and (with hope) having some fun. If something goes wrong you will have much narrower and easiest to correct circumstances.

Way to go, quoting me word for word from the Eye Candy forum. LOL Anyway, good luck to you and I would have to concur with nosisab. Whatever you do, do not install a bunch of mods at once. One at a time, then test is the way to go.

Yeah, sorry about that.

I just couldn't have said it better myself.

So thanks to SavageArtistry for that.

Thx to you guys as well for helping me out here.

:thanks:

Now I'll follow your instructions each and everyone.

Don't worry if it messes up, I won't come knocking at your door whining about it.

I probably would have missed something in the readme file.

Btw, nosisab said to avoid adding many mods at the same time.
