Vault Ledgend
Hi, I've noticed that since you moved the servers that my download speed does not exceed 500 Kb/s on the UK premium server (with 0 users) but I get 1 Mb/s plus on the Texas regular server with 200 plus users. Am I doing something wrong?

Dark0ne
The premium server has actually moved to London now as well, so that would explain why your speeds are slower. If you're getting 1Mb/s on the Texas server then that's pretty damn good going. If you're a FireFox user I'd recommend getting "DTA", DownThemAll! which is a great little download manager plugin that can be used on the premium server to speed up and stop/start/pause/resume downloads. You might be able to hit your peak with that, or a like minded program. Having said that 1Mb/sec considering downloads are capped at 150kb/s for normal members isn't bad at all! Vault Ledgend
Sorry, I meant the Texas Primun Server and the Washington regular server. Budah, It's all files. Dark0ne, I agree that 1 MB/s is fast and i'm not complaining. I just wondered if I was missing something. I'll try that download manager. Thanks. buddah
You may be running into internet congestion with connecting to the london server, my connection at home is a paltry 1.5mbs....but it get the downloads maxed out with what my connection speed will allow. I will run some checks at work in the morning....and run a query on internet congestion as well, and check the white board for problems on the net. Part of what I do for a living, if there is a major outage or congestion issues it should be posted.
JimboUK
Maybe it's a local problem, I've just got 1.9mb/s off the Texas one.
