Herculine
Thank you all for your kind compliments! I have another poem in the works, but it's gonna be a big one... perhaps even too big for this thread!you know where you have plenty of space if your work requires it. Of course. But I have something else big planned for that particular space...
Herculine
I love, but loved am I?Why does my lover's touch make me cry? I feel alone though this space we share; My empty heart cold with despair. All alone in a crowded room; All alone in a world of gloom. How much more must a person take? How much longer before her heart breaks? Where to find love in this world of danger?Where to find love in a world of strangers? My heart I must hide for fear of pain;My heart I can never surrender again. I cannot escape my deepest fearOf betrayal again from one I hold dear. It is my choice to suffer alone,To carry my burdens all on my own. My own oppressor, I sit here and cry,Certain of loneliness to the day when I'll die. Germandeathkittiez
Night Light What if we lived in a satellite, overlooking the shadowed world in flightand you would be the girl of night, telling your perverse thoughts as right. Sitting on a red carpet tapestry, curling around the world like a kitty, covered in everything in sight. We would be together tonight, ready to praise our new height.Never have we felt this uprightin our gondola glowing in the moonlight. I see your guise on me,from Kashmir pillows like black cats' curiosity;makes me nervous as the sky lingers bright. But your darkness is too hard to fight.Sun sets as you hover the carpet like a kite. You’ll be my little black-whiteand I’ll be your knight. Fixed are your eyes on me,in tension that bestills me like a distant breeze.Your dusk fills the room with twilight. We float on like creatures with night-sight, dreaming on but with words only trite.Running ‘round the bend, your friends I excite, But in this floating mansion you’re the one I ignite. Tricks are not what you see,nor tricked can you be,little girl with eyes of goodnight. Cute little girl tries with all her mightfor her dreams to be seen in her spite. She’s just a little bit stranger than normal light:a wanton breed of demonic insight. And everything I’ve feared you could beis everything you’ve managed to do to me,and everything I couldn’t write. Living in your satin black dress so tight.Tear it off and watch it fall forthright. You leer at me to sooth my frightand tell me that you won’t bite. _______________________________________________________________ I have to admit that part of this poem was abstractly inspired from Herculine's "METAMORPHOSES." Herculine
Thank you for visiting my garden. I love this poem, and am flattered that I could help inspire you. I also just read the Death Metal Song... did you write it as well? I'm a fan of bands like Cannibal Corpse and found the lyrics very fitting. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Germandeathkittiez
Thank you for visiting my garden. I love this poem, and am flattered that I could help inspire you. I also just read the Death Metal Song... did you write it as well? I'm a fan of bands like Cannibal Corpse and found the lyrics very fitting. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Thank you, and yes, these are all written by me. I have written many poems and song lyrics; I may post more but I'm not sure if I'd like to share them all here... though I have to say it could get quite addictive. ;)I don't really listen to Cannibal Corpse, but I listen to Death metal-like bands like Dethklok, Converge, Slipknot, All That Remains, Textures; to Black metal like Cradle of Filth, Belphegor, Emperor, Satyricon, and Dimmu Borgir. I think the Not Real song was mostly inspired by All That Remains and Sevendust, with the addition of a Holocaust class I took.

antonkr
Flying high is this what it is about,Loud machines that venture and roam the sky,Bullets flying all around,Thrill of duel and completing up the task,Seeing your opponent fall,or looking at your engine die, this what its all about. Haven't wrote anything for a long time saw this thread decided to write something.

I use the intros to many of their songs as part of my Oblivion soundtrack!
