cyrus224
If I change any dialogue in the dialogue script I am working on, it will not allow me to press "OK" Once I do, it does its regular annoying dictionary thing, and then nothing. The button "presses" but does not close the window. If I create a new Topic, it allows me to press "OK" but the window does not close, just the same. I press "Close" and the topic is there, with whatever I typed as response, so it seems to function in that sense, but now if I want to modify that text, I get the same "press ok and nothing happens" issue, leaving me stuck with whatever I first typed as dialogue. (I cannot modify Vanilla Dialogue either) This also happens when I was modifying a Package, I go to conditions, and set a "getScriptVariable", Once again, once I have selected my reference, it will not allow me to press "Ok" (in this case, I also cannot press cancel, forcing me to force quit the GECK, as I cannot exit the window or save) This is happening on several ESPs I am using on several different mods. I reinstalled Fallout, and the GECK, and it did not fix it. I used GECKpowerup, and that did not fix it. This did not used to happen, and it's getting frustrating as I am working with 8 others right now, and we rely on each other to get work done at a good pace. What could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
chucksteel
It could be your OS. I've had issues when using the GECK under a different OS other then Vista. Gust a Guess though.
cyrus224
Wow, I swore I tried this before but vista is the one thing that I would usually not try compatibility for. Setting it to windows Vista Compatibility worked, so you mentioning your OS was Vista gave me the solution, so thank you.
chucksteel
Glad I could help, If your left handed (Guessing your not) there will be other issues with vista computability things like the Object editing pallet don't work properly but that is only an issue I have to deal with. :wallbash:
