species5478
A while back, when I sold my X-BOX, I kept one of the peripherals because it worked well with my P.C. (A Flight Control Stick) The problem though, is that I had a rough time trying to find any kind of Fighter Planes based games to play with it. Sometime during the spring, after loads of online research, I bought a game called Falcon 4.0 Allied Force. It had a modding community so I thought there might be cool additional the original game, (like with Oblivion and Fallout) but I found the game WAY too realistic for my liking and WAY too buggy. So I gave up playing it. I eventually rented H.A.W.K.S. for the PS3, but found it too short, too easy, and very boring. I was always a fan of ACE COMBAT and was wondering if there were any games like that for P.C.
antonkr
YEAY i finally have somebody to talk to. Well I don't really know any good middle ones. I played H.A.W.X and it was too easy, I tried Lock On and it was too hard. I don't know any more of them. But you can try lock on.

Those are my fav...but at this point, I'm willing to fly a biplane if I have to!

dthumb
Ace Combat series by Namco for the PS1 and PS2, although the last one came out for the xbox 360. :(
Thor.
Agree the ace combat series are the best, but be carefull acecombat 5 can be to arcadish, can't do a barrel role. Maybe ace combat 7 will be for the ps3, crasses fingers.

Maybe ace combat 7 will be for the ps3, crasses fingers. I agree...with all of the above. In fact, that flight stick I mentioned in the first post, came from the Ace Combat Flight Package. My only problem with the series as a whole, is that I wish the storylines were a little more realistic. I think Ace Combat 4 was my favorite. (Is that the one with the Razgris?) Everything about that one was next to perfect. Good tension. Atmosphere. But it was a bit too short though...
