Your ambiguous snippet of chat log seems to suggest you went in to chat looking for help, you didn't receive help so decided to call the people in the chat parasites. Is that the gist of it? And then you thought posting here about it would be a good idea?

That's another level of special right there.

From the very first page when you click the "Chat" link, before you're allowed to enter you are presented with a page telling you what to expect from the chat and you have to click the "I Agree" button. In red font the following is written:

Note: this is not a support chat. This is a general chat about anything and everything (within the rules) that our members want to talk about. If you ask troubleshooting questions here don't expect (or demand) an answer. Ask nicely and someone might answer you (if they know the answer) but don't expect an answer and don't continually repeat your question.

So there's two options here:

  1. You thought that didn't apply to you
  2. You didn't read it and clicked "I agree" anyway

Which one is it?

There isn't a mod support team, if you need help use one of the tech help boards or post in the comments of the problematic mod.

Thnx, now its clear to me there is no mod team support team at all, you my friend solve problems, because now i know what i can expect here;)

The Nexus is not a support site for your game, it is a site where we have mods for games. We do have forums to help people with problems they encounter, but we do not have a dedicated support group. For dedicated help and support, you really need to go to the game maker and not a third party mods site.

What we do have is called crowd sourced support. There is no single group, there is no one in charge. Instead, anyone is allowed to help if they know the answer. And with over 7 million members the chances are that someone will know the answer. Many people do try to help. The chat is for chat and there will be just a few people on it at any time, the probability of there being someone immediately available on chat that knows the answer to every single problem on every one of the 96 separate games we currently have mods for is non existent. The probability of someone on the SUPPORT forums for that specific game who does know the answer and replying within a couple of hours is very high.

The only person ever able to provide support to a mod is the author, or if there are users knowledgeable enough about the mod so they can provide answers as well. Nobody else can, even technically.

Not even on Steam Workshop will you find any 'official' mod support. The official parties even 'deny' support for mods right from the start. Try Bethesda or Steam/Valve Tech Support and you will be told the same.

All you got for support is authors and 'fans'. And finding these inside the chat here is more than unlikely considering how many mods there could be you're having trouble with (several thousands), how many different games there are to be found here (>90), and how many users this site has (>7 million), and to have even only 1 person in the chat (among like only 30 users at a time) who knows the answer to your questions is... well, 'unlikely' doesn't quite cut it.

That's what the support 'forums' are for. There authors and fans of famous mods amass to provide answers to peoples' questions as good they can, grouped by the specific game it is for, so the people frequenting there are more likely to know the answers one's searching for, as it is a topic they're interested and knowledgeable in themselves. But even there not everybody knows an asnwer to every question. Sometimes a question can't be answered by anyone at all, as the 1 person knowing the answer will never show up in the forums.

Problems with a specific mod are always best asked in the specific mod's comments, as this is the exact place where author as well as knowledgeable users will frequently visit and are most likely to answer questions of any kind related to the mod. Outside of there it's not guaranteed to find even a single person who knows the answers. And even inside there, if the author's gone for a while, nobody but him will know every answer to every question about his mod.

That's how mod support works, and the only way it ever 'can' work.
