Blender 3d

Im havin some trouble with blender . . . .

 

I cant even open .dds or .nif files with blender and blender is very confusing

1) Of course you can't open .dds files, they're a 2d texture format.

 

2) To import .nif files you need the plugin for it.

 

3) Of course it's confusing. Learning 3d modeling is complicated and takes months of practice. There's no way to get around that.

i have one program called animation master (which is crazy) but it wayyyyy different

 

so your saying i cant really open a file that came with morrowind and edit it?

You can, but you will need the .nif import plugin for blender. I use 3dsmax for my own work, so I don't know where to find it... but I hear one exists. And I don't think animation master is a top-level 3d program, so of course blender is going to be more complicated.

No, it's not free, or even cheap. Even with the student discount, it'll cost you $5-700, without the discount it's more like $3,500. And even if you buy it, you'll be buying for Oblivion. The Morrowind export plugin only works with versions 3, 4 and 5 (current is 8 ), none of which are sold anymore.

 

And I already said I don't have a link for the blender plugin. You can search for it just as easily as I can.
