The worst game you've ever played?

Ugh... Now I remember another bad one...

Anyone recall the failure known as "Daikatana?" That game, with horrible graphics, AI, physics, and gameplay made by once-famous John Romero was one of the worst games I've played.

How about the guys in that game too whose heads bobbed up and down while they talked?

I remember dusting off my brother's nintendo (original) a few years back and playing it for the first time. I loved Punch Out, Contra, Double Dragon, and then I go to Ghouls and Ghosts...OMG...Horrible! Horrible! I hated that game, and running around in a pair of boxers...Ugh...

Modern Warfare 2! Is my newest, it trumps anything I have said before. Don't get me wrong it is fun but any fun you hve is far outweighed by what it lacks and what is not fun! I am talking PC I am sure the consolers are happy as a clam!

Yeah, you're gonna have to explain that one. Leaving us in the dark here with why you don't like it.

Another one:

Lego Island. Can't believe I ever got duped into playing that "thing"

I actually disliked just about every one of the three or so lego games that I ever tried. Don't even know why they can be as popular as they are.

Are you guys/girls curious because you have the game and cannot see where I could come to this conclusion? Or are you curious because you do not have the game and are wondering how I arrived at my conclusion?

Having watched my friend play Modern Warfare 2 I can certainly understand why SWAT chose it. The game just looked frustrating as hell. I was afraid my friend would slam his fist into his desk....which is made of glass, and supports the 52" LCD TV he uses for a monitor.

As for me, oh my, I don't know which one I would choose. I've played a lot of games, some of them pretty bad. Some that stick out...

Diablo 2, retrospectively. I did play it for a while... until I realized just how boring it really was (seriously, it's a mindless clickfest, and not in a good way) and I was really only playing it because my friend did.

Doom 3 for the sheer let-down factor after Doom 1 and 2.

For similar reasons, Space Empires V. Do yourself a favor and buy SE4 if you're going to buy a Space Empires game. SE5's UI is terrible.

Ok, those are relatively "minor" bad games, but remembering those dredged up memories of a TRULY bad game: Operation Body Count. An FPS using the Wolfenstein 3D engine released in the age of Doom and Duke 3D. It's legendary for its craptacular graphics, gameplay, sound, interface... just about everything that matters even a little in a game.

Then there's Pool of Radiance, and old PC RPG in the same vein as Baldur's Gate but that just plain didn't work. And more recently, bad console-to-pc ports like Bully, and GTA:SA.

I could probably name a few even older, from the 8 and 16-bit console era and the 286-era, but I wonder if some of those games were bad or just me back then.

I'm just curious cuz I played it on the console and enjoyed it quite thoroughly, that's all. Not holding it against you or anything.
