people say that humanity has reached its highest level and that space travel is impossible and that their will never truly be peace and you know what their right if we stay on this course towards death we will all die from war or poverty their for ending humanity's future but their is away for us to change all this before its too late if we all band together as one country one flag and forget our differences and work towards one goal that should be our path that will be the only way we can save the lives of our future the only way we will beat cancer and war the only way we can advance past our energy issues and someday maby not in our life time but in our childrens childrens life time we may be able to travel and find new worlds and new life forms we must all change before its too late

I don't hold out a lot of hope for anything changing. One of the things the human races seems to be best at, is coming up with new ways/reason to kill their fellow man. I don't ever seen a time when the entire world is at peace. There are just too many 'differences' that folks seem to think the only way to rectify is.... kill anyone that is different. By and large, our 'leaders' are more concerned with lining their own pockets, and those of their friends.... than they are with doing what is actually right. Don't see that changing either.

All in all, humanity is pretty much just a lost cause. In the not so distant future, I suspect that we will find a way to remove ourselves from the equation though. Hopefully, without taking the rest of the life on planet earth with us.

The whole "everyone under one flag" and a "world with no borders" thing simply isn't gonna work. There are too many people with too many differences and too many problems for humanity to ever unilaterally co-exist with each other. We're a warlike species by nature. Because we evolved from apes who are violent, territorial, and greedy.

If we all united under one flag and worked together, as you said, we would be able to reach goals nobody ever imagined to be possible (for example peace or the total end of poverty). But the problem is there are too many who don't want these changes. For example: Poverty on the one side of the society is the result of extreme/too high wealth on the other, but most of the rich people would never give up their wealth and living standards in order to defeat poverty.

So I agree, this utopic world would be a better place as it is now from my point of view, but I don't think this utopia will ever be reachable for mankind.
