usedcarparts
I just recently completed the GNR mission to retrieve the dish from the museum of technology and reported back to three dog to obtain my cache key. I want to know now do I have any use for him in the future? Does he play a major role in the game? I don't plan on killing him because I enjoy his broadcast but I did enslave him (used a mod for the mesmetron in order to do this) with hopes that enslaving him won't stop his broadcast from being aired since he's not dead. I'm going for an evil alignment here but I just want to make sure I'm not making a huge mistake.
DemonicLemon
The only thing he is useful for after the GNR quest is his radio station.
gsmanners
Is it really an evil character if you're worried about the consequences of your actions? Seems to me that if you're evil, then you just impulsively do bad things because you feel jealous or insulted or because you just want to. Worrying about consequences is for wussy nice people. roquefort
If you're evil you'll have to put up with three-dog slagging you off on the radio at regular intervals..

Being evil isn't the same as being an anarchist! Evil people can still worry about the consequences of their actions, just the consequences they worry about might be slightly different compared to a good alignment! WoogieMonster
Even more basic than that, you wouldn't want to kill someone and then 15-20 hours later discover you broke the game. If you kill 3dog, he gets replaced by some old lady whom you never actually see in the studio. She plays all his music but does not read his news reports and does not make comments on the player other than calling you an a**hole for ventilating 3dog's skull. If you're having the "it's so hard to stay evil" problem, I suggest using a mod to increase spawns and if possible, get the Contract Killer perk. Using Mart's Mutant Mod Increased Spawns, there are enough Brotherhood soldiers guarding the front door of GNR to take you from very good all the way down to evil, turning in their ears for the bounty gets you very evil. Just keep in mind they do shoot back. edit: thanks for the correction, gsmanners.
gsmanners
Isn't it ears for contract killer? Anyway, this game makes it pretty tough to be evil, whatever your definition. You're mainly reduced to stealing, hacking, and killing innocent bystanders. No intricate plotting and maneuvering others in some entertaining way to fight each other like in truly inspired games that let you be evil.
