The mission "A Shadow over Hackdirt" is a reference to the Cthulhu Universe.

 

It refers to "A shadow over Innsmouth." They even have a "Bible of the Deep Ones" in the chapel. :blink:

 

Even the "Brothers" look like Deep Ones. Creepy.

Lady Llathasa Indarys, the wife of Count Andel Indarys, died when she fell down the stairs in the castle of Cheydinhal. Rumour has it she was pushed, possibly by the count himself. Or he may have hired the Dark Brotherhood. Nobody knows.

 

I don't know if somebody said this already, but in the constuction set, there is a female Mannimarco. Perhaps he was originally planned to be a woman? If somebody already put this one in, let me know. Her editor ID name is TESTHighElf.

I doubt it, Mannimarco was in Daggerfall too (and much more awesome there) and there he was male too. Or genderless. But not female.

I am not sure if it is common knowledge but the dark brotherhood questline has a reference to the friday the 13th series. It is located in the anvil lighthouse basement, as a shrine around a head

When you attack Sheogorath, he teleports you way above a hill where he drops people he wants to execute.

If you travel there, you can find a note of one of the victim that says he has been executed for the attempt of growing a beard. I loled.

there is a house i skingrad full of undead , right next to the lazare's house.

I never found the owner of this house and i dont iunderstand why is a house with undead in the middle of skingrad.

I never knew your character could lean forward and pat the neck of the horse he or she is riding. I guess I've never spent much time idle on a horse, seeing as I use them for speedy transportation and all. :tongue:

 

Every time I try to ride a horse anywhere off the main highways I always get ambushed by a bear. It's like a really unfunny joke.

 

Yep, the creatures of Cyrodiil really, really hate horses.

I once had danger music follow me all the way up the Cheydinhal road. Worried I'd get the permanent danger music if I entered the city, I parked my horse in the stable and walked down the road a bit. There, I drew my sword and waited. Eventually, a minotaur came running up the road. I stood there defiantly as it charged straight toward me. I swung my sword as it blew past me and managed to hit it in the side. The minotaur wasn't even phased, it just kept running up the hill. By the time I hoofed back up the hill, the minotaur had opened the stable gate, killed my horse, and was now fighting the stable hand and the guard.

 

Bandits seem to have a grudge against horses too. I've had more than a few completely ignore my slashing blade because they were dead set on killing my horse.

 

 

you might have gone too close too the unicorn, its guarded by two minotaurs, i was just walking through the forest one day and one attacked me and then the unicorn attacked me.
