ShadowTek
Hi, I just got oblivion (huge fan of Morrowind, made a few mods for it like the drow race) finally got a laptop that can run it (kinda lol) anywhoo.. Is it possible to have different body types for different races? For example HGEC D cup for imperials, C cup for elves, H cup for orcs.. etc.. I know how to mod morrowind, but there seems to be a big difference in oblivion... Thanks ShadowTek PS.. a tad buzzed, excuse the mis-spelled crap

bben46
Sorry, only one body type for male and one for female in the game.
ptbptb
Sorry, only one body type for male and one for female in the game. Ah, that explains why reptiles have boobs then.
bben46
You got it! And felines only have one pair. It is a fantasy game after all. Making separate body types for the non human races would have taken a lot more resources. And having a different body type for every NPC (Short, tall, slim, fat) would have bogged it down and made it unplayable. I hope to see at least a few more body types in TesV. 3 to 5 would make it so everyone doesn't look alike. But it will make for problems in clothing. mcole254
Infact you will notice that most games follow this, just characters with unique shapes (fat, skinny, deformed, ect) are done so by the oufit they are wearing, it is modeled how the character is to appear and only they wear it, making it seem as if there is veriety in the body sizes and shapes. ShadowTek
Yes that is true, morrowind allowed different bodies so was just wondering if oblivion did, I see that it is in fact hard coded into the oblivion.exe file. Thats a bummer  :thanks: ST
LFact
Although you can use wearable body parts and scripted tokens to give each actor unique body shape(like Set Body), you wouldn't see any unique shapes when the actor is in his/her clothing. yanazake
There IS, tho, one mod that makes characters have different body sizes. I just don't remember the name now, but it's not the "set body" one, it is automatic.
