Baraka
The title pretty much is my question...I want to get started on making some weapons we feel were omitted ... namely throwing stars n darts & spears for Sir Lothar III. I want to get started modeling, but I don't think my old 3ds max5 is up to snuff now. Anyone know which # version of max will work with obliv? Thanx. Motto = Do it for Sir Lothar III. Peregrine
1) We don't know if we'll even get a plugin, Bethesda has refused to promise we will or release any details of it, citing "copyright issues" that don't make any sense. 2) If we do, you're actually one of the lucky few... 3dsmax 5 is what they used to make Oblivion, so that's the one version that would definitely be supported. It's those of us with newer versions that are screwed, as there is absolutely no legal way to get the older version (apparently the license bans third-party sales, so you can't even buy someone's old copy legally). And I don't even know where you could pirate it from, I doubt anybody still bothers making obsolete software available for download.

I have like all the versions of 3dsmax, including 5 (imagine that), but i have seen many of them on limewire for downloading. Many many people still have it and use it.. .Just look around..
