Mabbe
I have Fallout3 game of the year edition and i installed the main game and have downloaded 1.7 patch and FOSE and weapon mod kits and i have xp.I have waited atleast 20 minutes the second disc to run the install but nothing has happened. If i try to run the install trough my computer the computer crashes and it must be restarted. What should i do to install the second disc??????????????? Cheeco88
Just a hunch, but I'm thinking that installing FOSE before the expansions screwed it up some how. I would uninstall your mods, Fose and F3, reinstall F3, then expansion, then FOSE and other mods.
Skotte
There has been reports that some need to install the DLC disc while in "safe" mode, maybe that will help
pkleiss
Skotte is correct, and you don't need to patch fallout to 1.7 since the GOTYE alreadt comes with version 1.7. To check this, after installing the 1st disk, go to Options --> Display from the main game menu and look at the lower left of your screen. Ther version is displayed there.1.7.0.3 is the latest (English) version.

20072008
I have the same problem I think you may be able to uninstall the original Fallout and the other stuff then install it again then before doing anything install the secdon disc. The only problem is I am having trouble uninstalling the original Fallout 3 since I can't find an unistall file.

mechine
This is an issue for bethesda softworks technical support if you haven't noticed that by now. Tell them we said hi, but that would be your best bet. Since it's an issue with a CD-rom an all. Plus the GOTY thing. Pfft I have a version 1.0 lmao hahaaha it's only one disc. OH well...
