koenigkroll
I had played oblivion for more than a week, when yesterday out of nowhere I was getting these graphical errors: http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a227/koe...ScreenShot6.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a227/koe...ScreenShot7.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a227/koe...ScreenShot8.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a227/koe...ScreenShot9.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a227/koe...creenShot10.jpg I had had the exact same problems at the beginning, but updating my videocard drivers to 84.21 solved these problems. Now however nothing seemed to work. I don't understand why these problems occure out of nowhere. I tried different drivers reinstalled the whole game plus my vga drivers changed setting ingame but nothing helped If anybody knows why this is happening, Id be very grateful My specs:AMD 64 X2 3800+Geforce7800GTX (with forceware 84.21 at the moment)Creative Audigy2ZSAsus A8N-SLI
Switch
Whoa. That looks like a problem my GeForce4 Ti4200 developed a couple of years ago. I never did track down the source of the problem, and I had to replace the card (hopefully not necessary in your case). Have you checked your card temperature when playing the game via the NVidia control panel?
Dark0ne
Woa. That's sketchy! Have you tried turning all your graphical settings to their absolute minimum and running at 800x600 resolution?
koenigkroll
Have you tried turning all your graphical settings to their absolute minimum and running at 800x600 resolution? I have tried like every setting possible with no changes at all Also this is happening with every game I tried now so i am doing a clean install of windows and if that doesnt help it has to be the hardware

Switch
Not if what he says is true. Once the core is gone, it's gone. Hopefully they'll offer you a replacement, or a refund, if it's still under warranty/guarantee. As I said, it happened to one of my old cards and I had no choice but to bin it (in my case because I'd had it for too many years). However it didn't happen with everything, I was still able to play lower graphics games (even 3D ones) without the vertices going walkies provided they weren't too strenuous on the card. But definitely useless on anything like Morrowind or better.
