marieruth
Is there something I have enabled that's causing the render view to look like such? I don't really like the see-throughish thing. http://i.imgur.com/YRWM55e.png
jazzisparis
That happened to me sometimes. If I recall correctly, refreshing the render window (F5) should resolve this.
chucksteel
it happens when resizing the render window for me. F5 doesn't fix it for me I have to quite and reopen the GECK.
llamaRCA
it happens when resizing the render window for me. F5 doesn't fix it for me I have to quite and reopen the GECK. This. I've tried F5 too, and although it will refresh the page so you can do new stuff with lights, for example, it doesn't fix the weirdness that comes from resizing that window for me either. edited cuz TrickyVein has the answer Edited June 4, 2014 by llamaRCA
TrickyVein
Try toggling lighting on and off. It works for me whenever I resize the window.
llamaRCA
Try toggling lighting on and off. It works for me whenever I resize the window. Thanks for coming in to share that, kudos. I just went and tried it and it worked which makes me very happy. I fairly frequently forget and resize my window without thinking about it and then facepalm at myself for having done it because it means I have to exit to get things looking right. Obviously, this is much better :P
SayinNuthin
Distantly related question, is there anything to be done with the [A] key lighting? As in, some way to set it to a neutral white instead of the horrid colour-bending yellow light. It's pure murder trying to match texture colours with the damned thing on and the Render Window prefs-'time-of-day' doesn't appear to have any affect at all...
