Deleted472477User
Lately Bethesda has seemingly been more interested in touching on their other IPs that they've acquired instead of keeping to TES or FO sequels... Which, technically speaking is a better strategy as far as running a company goes. With this sort of strategy, it becomes much harder to push any single franchise to the point where the quality or innovation starts to falter or games feel "samey". Doing this also lets a game studio work with different ideas or mechanics that can lead to a more interesting game once they go back to their bread and butter titles. It may not be what fans of those series want, but ultimately it is for those fan's benefit. That's totally fair, as long as they don't play it up like they're about to announce a much longed for title like they did with E3 back in 2010. By all means work on other stuff, but don't act along the lines of "We're having your favorite dinner tonight" only to find out you're being served (insert name of something you don't like). Then again, it was Todd, so....
billyro
I didn't watch E3, but it looks like Bethesda announced a new DOOM game instead of Fallout 4.

To where it is "We're having your favorite dinner tonight, only that it is actually just a photograph of that meal with a few sprinklings of salt."... Yet. GlassDeviant
Beth is not likly to touch TES again until TESO has officially been declared one of Zenisoft's biggest screwups of all time, so they can keep the negative feelings from single-player/purist TES fans at a distance. Being that TESO is merely a generic MMO with TES trappings, Beth likely wants their audience to be rabidly starving for a new release that is true to the legacy and actually done by them instead of "some other company also owned by the same parent company". In the meantime they have plenty of other IPs to play with. At the very least this means we will (hopefully) benefit from a completely new, 64-bit engine by the time TESVI rolls out. TESV stretched 32-bit to its limit and quite a bit beyond, after all, and it would be much easier to design a new 64-bit engine than to completely overhaul existing code to run well under 64-bit. It's been tried before by other companies and declared an utter nightmare.
hector530
The fact people still think Bethesda Game Studio made TESO is hilarious. No fallout news till 2015 won't be released till 2016 because EVERYTHING is coming out in 2015
modder3434
I'm hoping for a spike reveal, like for Skyrim. A voiceover teaser trailer, with a release date for october 23rd 2015.
