The same process causes Nexus Mod Manager to crash for me. Is there a way for me to send you a crash log?

I have opened a bug report - http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/tracker/issue-21945-crash-on-mod-install/I disabled UAC and Windows Defender (my only anti-virus) but I still get a crash. The crash shows the defaults Windows crash window.

Matattack65
I updated and my mods are completely gone now, there is no trace of them left on my computer, I tried every solution suggested in this thread and nothing has worked.

When I installed it I did click to no to removing the configs, yet this still happened. Should I do the same procedure for 50.2?
DuskDweller
In response to post #15369505. It means you selected new Mods and Install Info folder when asked during the first run.Uninstall NMM removing config files when asked, then reinstall it and this time make sure to select the previous Install Info and Mods folders (to restore your mods list and install settings). Thanks for the help and keep up all the great work you and your team do for us, without you and your team, modding wouldn't be anyway near as appealing and easy. :) Edited June 6, 2014 by clonewars131
zcul
Hi, just to let the team know:Updating from 50.1 to 50.2 was very easy, self explaining (imo) and without any problems (on my machine). Uninstalling procedure for the previous version started automatically when starting the .exe file (no manual uninstallment neccessary) after that, installment of latest version was "fool proof". As mentioned earlier, if you want to keep your previous configuration and file paths, just click "no" when you are asked, if you would like to remove the previous configuration files (same procedure concerning this point as for the 44+ versions - as far as I remember) .... "As usual" - like for the previous versions as well ("documented on my machine" since v 44.1): I have not experienced any problems so far with all the NMM-updates ... :-) Again, thank you to the team :-)
