Do you get the NMM Tracelog crash window or the Windows' default crash window?

Since this is not a new version issue please open a bug report here:

Thanks for your assistance. I have opened a bug report - http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/tracker/issue-21945-crash-on-mod-install/

I disabled UAC and Windows Defender (my only anti-virus) but I still get a crash. The crash shows the defaults Windows crash window.

In response to post #15369505.

It means you selected new Mods and Install Info folder when asked during the first run.

Uninstall NMM removing config files when asked, then reinstall it and this time make sure to select the previous Install Info and Mods folders (to restore your mods list and install settings).

Well the good new is that nothing went wrong from the transition from 50.1 to 50.2, all the mods I installed with 50.1 are still there, sadly not my old ones, but I can live with that.

On a side note, where should the game install info go to; the folder NMM creates or my base game folder?

Thanks for the help and keep up all the great work you and your team do for us, without you and your team, modding wouldn't be anyway near as appealing and easy. :)

Hi, just to let the team know:

Updating from 50.1 to 50.2 was very easy, self explaining (imo) and without any problems (on my machine). Uninstalling procedure for the previous version started automatically when starting the .exe file (no manual uninstallment neccessary) after that, installment of latest version was "fool proof". As mentioned earlier, if you want to keep your previous configuration and file paths, just click "no" when you are asked, if you would like to remove the previous configuration files (same procedure concerning this point as for the 44+ versions - as far as I remember) ....

"As usual" - like for the previous versions as well ("documented on my machine" since v 44.1): I have not experienced any problems so far with all the NMM-updates ... :-)

Again, thank you to the team :-)
