thanks man, thanks for responding, when I ask questions in forums, people usually don't respond, leaving me high and dry. Kinda of destroying the point of why forums are there in the first place. I appreciate it. Plus I check the type of image JPEG i think. Another person uploaded a JPEG file on her mod page and works just fine. I dont get it.

I found a way to get them to work. Open your pictures with paint and save them in PNG format and them upload them. You'll get rid of that error and the pictures show up. Just check your file page and see. I have uploaded one. Anyway I hope it works for you to. I have to go now, have a nice day and as many downloads as posible.

I think its because using the built in screen capturing from the game adds some additional bytes to the beginning and/or end of the JPG file (probably referencing the save point/character) and this additional data isn't typical of the JPG format which is screwing up the image manipulation code on the site. The fix for this is opening the picture in MS Paint or an image editing program and resaving the picture. It will remove the additional data and the thumbnails will then work.

I replied to your PM yesterday but since I now see this same topic here, I'll say what I said in the PM so everyone can see it.

SUMMARY: JPG Images Created by Dragon Age is NOT compatible with the Nexus thumbnail image creator.

If you do NOT modify the screenshot that is saved directly from within DragonAge, it will not work with the thumbnail creation utility this site uses. Just like in Oblivion, the raw images need to be modified before being uploaded. In Oblivion however, it was initially huge, raw BMP images that needed to be converted to JPG to save bandwidth as well as allowing the thumbnail utility to work.

Since the images DA creates are a type of JPG already, you simply need to re-save them. But I'd take the opportunity to also crop the images as well since you have the image in an editor such as MS Paint or Paint.NET

I have an article posted in the Oblivion Article Database about how to use the built-in Windows tool called MS Paint to crop and save an image in JPG format (MS Paint will save the image in the "correct" JPG format)

NOTE: If you use FRAPS to capture your images, you will not have this problem as it will save in the correct JPG format...although you may still need to crop your images.
