Wolfiefang
I think that of ALL Ads these are the worse. No one needs to hear ads, it just makes them reload the web page. I know i have read posts before that say you will remove such ads as long as we get screen shots to show you. I know I'm not wrong with these qualifying because in my Quest to get screen shots I found out something interesting. All these ads lead to the same end game of a LONG video about... what I think is "The secret" blah blah how to be successful with the power of your MIND. So there's more then just the annoying ad, you get an annoying scam on top of it. But enough complaining, since I don't think any is really needed except stating that it has sound and irritates the heck out of me and my friends on this site (and I bet a lot others) One question though before the pictures though. Do I need to find you ALL the interactive advertisements? I'm missing a few I'm sure, and I really don't want to spend my whole say hunting? This way I know I can stop hunting those and work on finding that dominoes pizza one... and think that stupid one for cough medicine isn't interactive.Appreciate that you'll remove these. Anywho, here are the pictures.http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg311/Wolfiefang/add5.jpghttp://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg311/Wolfiefang/add3.jpghttp://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg311/Wolfiefang/add2.jpgThey all turn into this one.http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg311/Wolfiefang/add4.jpg

Illiad86
you guys really, if you have Firefox, you should get AdBlock Plus for it and filter these annoying stinkers out...atleast they aren't as bad as the buzzing mosquito ad...that by far is the worst ad ever created. It feels so good going to a website and not having some ad yelling at me to buy some dish liquid or "lower your rates!!!!!!"
Dark0ne
What site is this happening on? I'd like to make some changes to the setup but I need to work with someone who gets these ads all the time to confirm if/when I have got rid of them. For those who don't know, internet advertising is like a big chain. You give your entire inventory to one advertising agency who utilise as much of it as possible. The stuff they can't utilise they send back to me to give to a second advertising agency. The stuff they can't sell goes to a third, and so on and so forth until all remenant ads just get sent to Google Adsense. So it forms a chain: Ad company #1 --> Ad company #2 --> Ad company #3 ... --> Google Adsense It becomes extremely hard to manage which ads get shown on your site and even more complicated trying to get a single ad removed. Wolfiefang
The Fallout3 site atleast. (only one I frequent now)I get on here a LOT so I can definitely keep you updated.I thought we had a good shot cause they all say "Interactive Ads" (which are not very interactive cause they continue after like 3 seconds if you don't interact XD)Will full screen shots help more? Any other way I can help? These specific ads have pissed of my friends enough I have to bribe them with candy to get them to go here (keep wanting me to send them files now). Dark0ne
I've made a few tweaks, can you let me know if you come across them any time from here-on-in?
jaysus
1)why not just use google adsense directly? it basicly redistributes the ads according to your meta words (at least thats how it worked like 3yrs ago) 2)mind that these ads are dependant on your location, i for example get totally different ads than the first poster most of which are designed for my region and language and hence spotting individual ads might need to be done in every country seperately which probably is a lot of work 3)dunno if you did that yet, plz let the ads load after the page's content, its utterly annoying to wait for an ad to load while i just need to dowload a small mod... Wolfiefang
Just a Quick update. There hasn't been any of the irritating ads. I'll keep my ear open on this one and update if there's anymore, but I'd consider it a job well fixed. Evilness has been removed.
Wolfiefang
NEGATIVE! We have an Irritating Ad Alert! Those sneaky sobs! Seriously this one is the WORST. It was trying to scare you into buying it because of swine flu. I like right next to Mexico and i lick my keyboard atleast once a day and I'm perfectly healthy... well atleast I don't have the swine flu. Seriously I wash my hands like... once a week you scaredy cats. Anywho here is the required picture.http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg311/Wolfiefang/ad6.jpg
