I seem to be having a problem with the site, every time I click on notifications I get an error then it goes to a white page with my recent notifications, and it then stays like that, it also heppens when I try to change pages when looking up mods. I noticed that the site address changes to include "Ajax" in the address

An example of a bad address:

Can you give me a step by step guide of what you're pressing to reach this issue? I can't replicate this if I click the notifications button, then click a link within the notifications pop-up.

I just click on the notifications button, and I get a message that says "An Error has Occured" then it loads a new page, or when I'm searching the file database, and go beyond page one it happens.

It seems to be a problem with Firefox, Internet Explorer has no trouble loading the pages or looking at notifications

I've had that happen occasionally when the site's been slow/overloaded. Does it happen to you all the time or at random times, or only at certain times of the day?

(I'm also on Firefox, by the way, though not the current version. I'm waiting for one of my favorite addons to be updated or replaced.)

  • 3 weeks later...

I know its been a while since anyone has posted on this topic and I don't know if the OP is still checking up on this or if he's fixed it. But just in case anyone else has this issue...

I had this same problem until just yesterday and I finally fixed it myself on Google Chrome.

1. Reset browser settings (settings > show advanced settings > reset browser settings). I don't know if this step is actually necessary but I did it anyway.

2. Disable a Google Chrome extension called "Better Pop Up Blocker". I don't know if the OP actually has this extension but I was getting the EXACT same problem you were having for weeks (maybe months but i've been inactive untll recently).

If this isn't the issue for you then try disabling adblock-like extensions one by one. If none of those work then unfortunately I don't know.

It was my redirect cleaner, I turned it off and the pages loaded normally again. Thanks for the suggestion.
