ghastley
Last couple of Oblivion mods I uploaded did not get the usual forum thread created by the 'bot. Is there any way I can bootstrap them myself?
buddah
Nope, no one can; not even Dark0ne.
LHammonds
Yep, the guy works really hard most of the time but sometimes he calls in sick...and when he does, only a re-creation of the page can help...but not if he is still sick. ghastley
... only a re-creation of the page can help... Is this possible from my end? Can I completely remove them and re-add, or the removal something that can only be done at your end? My recollection of "deleted" mods is that a database entry remains to allow the site to say "no longer here" rather than "never here".
Dark0ne
You can remove them from your end and it will remove all trace of the file's existence. The "no longer here" message is typical of enterting any ID number that doesn't exist in the database. Try it with a stupidly high number and you'll see :P
ghastley
In recreating the files in question I discovered that the discussion/comment threads are only created (for me at least) if I enable endorsements. Then I can't turn them off again. Not a biggy, just wondered if that was intended.
