Ancalagon
It's a novelty spell, as far as I'm concerned. I mean, the welkynd stone can be hit with an arrow if any player wishes to take the time to aim.The problem is if it were an offensive use spell, meaning that the spell dealt damage (like throwing chairs, shields, weapons, and people) it would be too close to the Super Grav Gun from Half-Life 2. That would make it an uber spell and it would be abused to no end. If the spell were to be more than an environment interaction spell, and done (IMHO) right, on mastery of Mysticism the ability to knock down/paralyze or disarm enemy would be gained. That way, if you hit someone with an object using tele, you could knock them down and paralyze, or you could pull the weapon out of the opponents hand and throw it away. This would be a more pacifistic use, enabling the player to escape while the enemy is down. It seems a more plausable use of disarm, as opposed to punching a sword out of an enemy's hand. But that's just me. Hopefully someone could mod those skills, if it were possible, and make tele a spell worth using instead of using it to pick stuff up from a distance. Rhydderch Hael
As I recall, someone used Telekinesis on a Sigil Stone they were carrying around and pushed it against an NPC, lifting both stone and NPC into the air and causing the person to suffer damage when they fell back down. If there was a way you could (easily) use Telekinesis on an enemy, you could push them away (over a bridge, for instance) or pull them closer to you (cowardly archer who doesn't want to get within range of your sword). Or lift them into the air and dash them against the rocks.
Ancalagon
Yeah, but then it would be just like Half-Life 2's Super Gravity Gun at the end of the game. It was an Uber weapon because you could use it against organic objects (read people) and at that stage there were gobs and gobs of em. The normal gun could only affect inanimate objects (tires, cinderblocks, car doors) yet was still deadly when used. To push or pull an enemy away using tele would be cool, but I would bet that tele would be the only spell used by most playersBECAUSE of the cool factor. Added the fact that if it was exploited, the game would become unbalanced. Why use lightning when you can pick the s'wit up and throw them off the bridge? Now if there was a large cost of magika used when lifting enemies or pushing them, that would work, maybe. But I think that if Beth had developed it more as an non-violent spell (knock down target with a toggled object, pull weapons away to disarm target) it would be better balanced. I think it has way more potential and use than the Devs realized or chose to realize. Perhaps they left it as is because of the potential of being a game unbalancer. Who knows. I don't think it will ever be modded because it affects the Havok engine, and I believe Beth blocked that off from being used by modders.
daeanor
This spell boils down to a way of getting objects you can't reach otherwise. I use it mostly for Welkynd stones; it's infinitely easier than shooting the stupid things, running to where they fell, then picking them up. It's not useless, but it's not necessary either ... it's just handy.
ironfistchamp
The current tele spell is pretty good but it could be better. I love the idea of manipulating enemies and that. I'm sure that it could be implemented somehow. This whole "unbalancing" thing shouldn't be a problem. It is up to the player as to how to use it. I mean it is pretty damn simple to create your own kill spell or even open the console and type kill. I've downloaded quite a few "unbalanced" spells and made a few of my own (nothing in the way of a telel spell just an awful lot of damage and no magika cost). I use them for messing about. If someone is reading this please take the ideas from above and create a new tele spell. Especially the whole picking up chairs and hitting people with them. That rocks. Zadir
That would be cool. You'd be like Dr. Vattic from Second Sight. Here's an idea: a set of Psychic spells. And I don't mean like racial powers like Diamok's Psionic Imperials. I mean an actual spell set. Possession, Out-of-body-experiences, stuff like that. SoulBlazer_87
True but plase don't make them unbalanced orr at least make two versions: one that screams OVERKILL to mess around with (like the party hard spell) and one to be reallistically used. e.g. not throwing the enemy off the castle but hurting him by throwing claymore at his face. oh and Zadir have you been playing a bit too much Psi-ops? I like the idea though and support it.

Switch
Please try to avoid one liner "me too" posts, as they can get a bit spammy. Try and flesh out your posts a bit more, otherwise it can just seem like you're posting just for a postcount +1. Thanks. That goes for Ironfist as well. ;)
