Wrathflame
How exactly do you remove mods completely from your game and not screwing it over? I tried deleting the stuff in override and disabling them in the DLC section but when I load I get the forced load thingy(which I don't understand). Please help me! I'm actually doing this to be able to go to Awakenings not nude or screwed up... unless I don't have to anyway? (Is there a compatibility thing?) Sebiale
I have no idea what transition from Origins to Awakening will be like. Unless it was a very large change, most mods can be removed with little trouble; items and the like. I would not recommend trying to force load a game without stuff the size and breadth of DAR or Improved atmosphere, they change quite a bit. hdhd
Most add-ins should be compatible with the new addon. The new patch 1.03 already did the changes to the code so you don't need to remove any of your add-ins. If the add-ins are compatible with patch 1.03 there also shouldn't be any problem with Awakening. Patch 1.03:• Various changes have been made to code and resources to support the Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening expansion pack. Most of these changes do not affect Origins itself. nosisab
Alright thanks guys. :)Anyway, that "forced load" just says the mod was successfully removed and the savegame expect it/them (It's not the same that say you can't have problems ahead, but...) and should go away once you save the game again. It's advised you backup all sensible data before doing modifications, including savegames.
DarkeWolf
Forcing a savegame load isnt bad. It just means that you are loading up a game that is expecting a mod to be there, that isn't. What I WOULD recommend doing tho, is that when you have to forceload a savegame, that once you're loaded, you immediately create a new savegame, with a different filename. Then restart the game loading that new savegame. That way you have a fallback save, just in case the new one has problems. And because it lets your game start fresh, without looking for those mods if you restart.
