Skyrim crashes entire computer, speaker makes weird buzzing noise

I've been having a problem with Skyrim were it crashes the entire computer and the fan and speaker get really loud. I can maybe play about 15min before it crashes.I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660, 8 GB of RAM, and my processor says: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz. It's a 64 bit computer.

Same happend to me few months ago, reason: blown and burst mobo capacitors. Exactly the same thing, total freeze, static sound distorsion, keyboard and mouse not working, power off, restart, notning at all, only solution was to cut the power. Mobo last breath... Open your pc case and check it out.

Also check your CPU and GPU heat sink to see if they are dust free, you should be able to get a special dust blower from computer shops to remove any dust build up.

bro this was YEARS ago lmao but my computer couldn't handle skyrim it was bluescreening. Too many graphical mods

@jspee. Can you a look at ur graphics card? Ive never had gaming laptop. Your graphics card might have fans on them that are caked up with dust/dark matter. Don't think your suppose let those fans spin while your cleaning them, definitely read up on it.

 

Try a free CPU tester.

 

 

I was getting weird graphical effects on desktop, translucent polygons weird shitz. Npcs gone black. Opened desktop and it was thick cake. Cleaning wrkd great.

Anyone have a solution to this?? I'm currently using Snapdragon Prime ENB with mods and my laptop runs flawlessly with it. It's just this damned problem. Black screen with a small window, upper-left corner or a freeze/lockup, hard reset.

I run almost 200+ mods with a less than 6 months old Ryzen 5 2600x and 16 gb of ram. Its graphically intensive and script heavy. When I run Skyrim through SKSE Skyrim throws a fit and I get a black loading screen and a window stating its pretty much crashed or you think it has. Windows (in my case at least) is talking crap. Game is fine. PC is fine.
