So, the Enclave's fate in the Fallout series?

Indeed he does. "I was only following orders" is the WORST excuse for Genocide ever... Now the Enclave's little idea to kill mutants would kill everyone... They've all got minor mutations and a lifetime of low-level radiation and so would be killed by the modded FEV. The Enclave are nothing if not evil megalomaniacs.

It's just a point of view.

Well, I played Fallout 2 a long time ago (can't remember everything anymore), but I know I discussed with the last living President about what the Enclave's doing. Maybe they're a bit extreme when they categorize every living thing outside their bases as mutants they have to annihilate, but their reasoning isn't totally wrong. And the president was actually horrified when he learned that the differences between Enclavers and Wastelanders are actually pretty small/nonexistant.

The Wastelanders might be humans (even though they've been living in a world full of radiation), but the common Enclaver never meets one of them and the only things they know is what others told them.

Only Soldiers, Scientists and maybe one or two other persons know more about Wastelanders besides "They've been radiated for 200 years = Everything radiated is mutating or in the process of mutating = *Insert Picture of the green Supermutants*".

The Enclavers believe they're doing the right thing destroying all the mutants in order to repopulate America. They just need to come up with another idea, like a Gen-Therapie to revert the damage of 200 years radiation and then they are "Good Guys". I mean, if they don't have pure genes anymore, who has?

PS: I'm sure that if you ask a Supermutant who's the most Evil Person they've ever heard of, then they would show you a picture of the protagonist of Fallout 1, 2 or 3.

Nobody has ever done anything for them, besides shooting^^

The Enclave didn't want the extermination of all those who weren't pure genes. That was just President Eden. Colonel Autumn went as far as disobeying the president and trying to kill you at raven rock to prevent such from happening. Still, the enclave isn't the good guy either. They are a faction of that wants to bring back old America, but solely through the Enclave . Hence the attempted takeover of project purity.

Looks like they may be back in New Vegas as a faction after all. Perhaps, as some of the original Devs are part of it, they will even be a joinable faction.

The latest trailer starts off with an Enclave Probe/Radio-Droid flying through the wasteland and being shot out of the air.

I'm unsure however. It doesn't respond to the shots fired at all and has all sorts of stickers and crap on it. It may just have been highjacked/stolen before the Enclave fell in D.C. and put to some other use in Vegas.

Of course the darned Enclave are not done. Even as much as I hate them, i'm glad to see there return to New Vegas.

The trailer? The Enclave eyebot with the 2 bumper stickers and the license plate? The one who gets blown to pieces by a sniper? The Enclave are returing, alright...

The enclave were a pretty small organization to begin with. I doubt we'll see them for awhile seeing as they've been continuiously wiped out throughout each fallout game. Heck, they're most likely still out there, but I doubt they have the proper organization at the moment to plan a grandiose assault in NV. But we'll see, I suppose.

About the "PS" part: Is there really any way to not shoot at them? There are only 2 supermutants in the game that are friendly, and the rest (thousands) hate you and shoot at you just like everything else without reason.
