Nat20 Posted March 25, 2010 Share Posted March 25, 2010 new here and new to mods... i just looked over the boards for 2 hours and cant find this so im gonna ask Can anyone please tell me how to add a mod to my game? i dont know really anything about this kinda thing(more of a 360 player) and would appriciate it of someone could tell me the basics... or even a link to a how to guide kinda thing so far i found some mods i like and downloaded them on 7-Zip manager... now what? im lost lol Thank you for any help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bben46 Posted March 25, 2010 Share Posted March 25, 2010 It can vary depending on which game you are using. Oblivion & FO3 are the same, but Dragon Age is completely different. If you are using Oblivion, you are in luck. I have a set of help files for people who are not computer geeks and are new to mods. They include downloading, extracting (unzipping) installing and activating mods. I have included a simple mod to practice on and instructions for installing and using 7-zip. If you are interested, click on the highlighted link below to be taken to the site where they are kept. I recommend starting with #1 and working your way through them. http://s1.zetaboards.com/TheStormRavenLibrary/forum/256092/ If you use them I would appreciate some feedback as to what needs improvement and what works for you. Fallout 3 is almost exactly the same. But my examples will not work.I don't have anything for Dragon Age yet though, So hopefully if that is what you need someone else will help out.
