I do not like nor care for drugs either, I have lost a brother and a sister to heroine use. However denying that they exist or simply ignoring the reality that they exist does the world alot more harm. I myself take the opposite approach I believe that ldrug abuse should be shown in games when it is relevent provided that it is shown in an honest light.

I personaly think there's a difference between denying something exists and deliberately bringing it into a game, myself, but to each their own.

I'm very sorry Aria. I don't approve of certain drugs either. Such as methamphetamine's and all hard drugs like them. It is indeed disgusting when you see pictures of people that have been on drugs such as these. My friend actually just lost his brother to the choking game while his brother was on cocaine. I think this mod should be made for the use of tobacco only.

hi to everyone who is so pissed about people using drugs. let me introduce myself. I'm a 15-year-old with ADD, ADHD (im not sure which one -.-"), 3 years of depression, a personality disorder, and an authoriry disorder. (yes im *banned* up). And I have an IQ of 122. Mix these things together and you get a girl that isn't able to express emotion, and is unable to relax (and other stuff, im bot talking about that). Now let me introduce weed. A drug, yes but a softdrug. People do more damage to theirselves by drinking and smoking. I've been smoking weed since a few months and it allowed me to relax, thereby made me go back to school and overall a much happier person. No matter what you think, not all drugs are bad. I'm not saying you should go and sniff some cocaine now, you certainly shouldn't, but I am saying that weed isn't that bad once you know what it is and how to use it.

I can understand that most people think of addicted red-eyed tramps at hearing the word weed, but that image is quite wrong.

As for mods.. there is the Smokable pipe mod, when i installed it it makes some npc's sit around and smoke pipe.

Not sure what mod it is but there is one that adds a drug dealer to the north of Skingrad that sells weed haze, some kind of mushrooms and other stuff....

 

So...there are already mods for it. :thumbsup:

just hopped ingame..Weed Widow, Weed Haze, and Psy Shooms. But the dealer wasnt home..musta been "doin business" in Skingrad :teehee:

Siding with Kieranfoy... Drugs are a waste of time, and I have other ways of relieving stress. (Such as beating addicts over the head with a baseball bat)

 

Tobacco is a drug in my book, and always will be. It's the only good Christian Moral I retain.

 

Weed? Weed is what you want? The only weed I would ever want is the kind of weed that I can grow out in my yard (Dandelions, if the police ask), I don't see the point in adding another 'skooma' to oblivion. I don't get high off seeing my character smoke in oblivion, and never will.

 

Besides, moon-sugar makes a good cocaine, no?

jeez am i saying that? Yes i agree with Kieranfoy... i am proud to say i am drug free/alchol/nicotine free..

But a mod like so should be fun to see either way

Not sure why this is a poll, but I cant say I have any real objection to such a mod. I do think its funny; people raising moral objections to the inclusion of drug use into a game where you can make a career out of theft or murder.

 

What I would like to see (or know about if it already exists) is a mod which replaces the skooma drinking animation of NPC skooma addicts, with a pipe smoking one. It'd be a darn sight more realistic them smoking and talking at the same time, rather than the constant drink & talk scenario they get away with as standard.
