You've installed it to the right place. What version of Fallout 3 are you playing? GOTY or normal one? Make sure you've updated Fallout 3 to the latest patch (1.7).

not being an expert...

Do you have a german cut game?

Do you have a cracked exe or do you use an uncut patch?

The problem

The patch does not patch manipulated executables

FOSE does not work with manipulated executables

Fix

reinstall + only use official patches

Advice for the future

avoid buying cut games, buy uncut

-> USK = :down:

-> PEGI = :thumbsup:

Miscellaneous

welcome to the forums :biggrin:

Hmm okay,

but you should consider that the PEGI Version does not have any fallout3ng.exe like said in the error report :confused:

Only a german cut should have the ng.exe

(I assume that the ng stands for no gore)

The "files" from FOSE should be inside the game folder, not a folder containing them (fallout 3/fose_V1_2_beta2/fallout3ng.exe) but since i don't know that fallout3ng.exe I can't be sure what is the real problem.

Now, if you are under Vista or seven you should avoid installing games inside the c:\Program Files, mainly the moddable ones.

PS: to make it clear, you should not have a folder named something "fose" inside the game install root.

did some homework, it seems to be the German version and find that article that explain how to make fose work with it. Hope it works for you, albeit it seems a bit complicated and may exist better ways. Sorry I can't be more helpful here.
